Windy Numbers

Write numbers on fall theme paper leaves. To complete this activity, students will play with a partner. To begin, students will lay the leaves down in numerical order. One student will close their eyes while their partner secretly removes a leaf. When the student opens their eyes, they have to figure out which number “blew away”. 

Pumpkin Patch Pairs

On pumpkin shaped paper cut-outs, write uppercase and lowercase letters. You can use these in a few different ways. Students can match the uppercase and lowercase leaf letters. You can have students sort upper and lowercase letters. You could also have students put the leaf cards in ABC order. Teacher tip: Laminate the leaf cut-outs for durability.
