The 10 alphabet centers included are:
Rainbow Letters: Match the uppercase and lowercase letter cards together. On the recording sheet, students will trace the letters using the same color on the card.
Alphabet Hunt: The cards show an uppercase and lowercase letter pair as well as a shape. Students will match the shape on the letter card to the shape on the recording sheet and write the letter pair.
Write the Room: Students will find the cards in the classroom and write the uppercase and lowercase letter pair on the recording sheet.
Alphabet Pictures: The cards include an upper and lowercase letter pair along with a beginning sound picture. Students find the picture on the recording sheet and write the uppercase and lowercase letters.
Find and Write: Students will find the letters hidden in a picture and write the letters they find on the recording sheet as they go.
Egg-cellent Letters: Select the letter cards you want students to practice. Students will sort the cards using the uppercase and lowercase mats. Then, write the letter in the corresponding column on the recording sheet.
Alphabet Treasures: Students will count the number of uppercase and lowercase numbers shown on the card. They will write how many of each they find on the recording sheet.
Alphabet Garden: Students will identify the uppercase letter on the top of the card. They will then use a clothespin to clip the lowercase letter that matches. Students will write the uppercase and matching lowercase on the recording sheet.
Magic Letters: Students will identify the letter on the card. They will match the number on the card to their recording sheet and color the magician’s hat with the matching lowercase letter.
Froggy Matches: Students will say the name of the letters on the card and decide if they are a match. If the letters match, they will color the check mark on their recording sheet and write the letters on the line. If the letters do not match, the student will color the x on their recording sheet and write the correct lowercase letter.
