Find the Word includes 52 sight word worksheets. It is includes all words on the Primer sight word list. It was designed to help students quickly recognize and identify sight words.
To prepare this activity, simply print the page or pages you are wanting to use. Students will identify the target sight word at the top of the page. They will search the page to find the corresponding sight words.
You can have students complete these pages with a highlighter, crayon, or bingo dabber. You could also use this as a center and have students cover the corresponding sight words with cubes or mini erasers.
You could turn this activity into a small group game. Supply each student with a copy of the sight word page and set an age/skill level appropriate timer – perhaps 30 seconds to a minute. Have students race to highlight the words (or cover with a manipulatives). See who can find the most words before the timer goes off.
