Included in this Reading Logs for Kindergarten resource:
12 months of reading logs (3 theme choices per month)
4 anytime monthly reading logs

Tips for Reading at home parent hand-out
Monthly reading log checklist (Editable to add student names)
Preparing the reading logs for Kindergarten is simple and easy. Just send home the parent letter at the beginning of the year and the “Tips for Reading at Home” information sheet. Select and print your desired reading log theme and send home at the beginning of each month.
An editable student checklist is also included so you can record who has completed each month’s reading log. Simply type in your class list and print. Two options are included; August through May and September through June.
Reading logs are a great way to encourage a love of reading in AND out of school. Students build intrinsic motivation to read each night at home when they can color a cute picture afterward! Students can also visibly see their progress each month and be proud of their accomplishments.
