Ways to Make 5 and 10 – Using Classroom Manipulatives

$5.00

Also available in a BUNDLE:

Description

This resource was designed to be an easy to prep, easy to implement activity to help your students practice making five and ten. The activities use basic classroom manipulatives (plastic math cubes and plastic math bears) which students are already familiar with using.

There are 8 different types of practice mats with corresponding recording sheets and “I Can” visual directions. Also included are blank five and ten frames for guided practice.

These would be great activities for a teacher-led, small group lesson before moving them into an independent student-led center. Since the activities do not require a recording sheet they would also be great for a morning tub or fast finisher activity.
