This Fall Activities for Kindergarten pack includes math and literacy centers. It is perfect during the month of October. Themes included in this packet are: pumpkins, fall leaves, fall kids, acorns, scarecrows, candy corn, spiders and webs, and apples.

Contains a total of 17 center activities (9 math center activities and 8 literacy center activities). All activities are common core aligned with standards included.
All activities include:
-Recording sheets to hold students accountable for their work
-Kid-friendly “I Can” posters to promote independence
-Answer keys for easy checking
-Follow-up print-and-go activities/worksheets to reinforce the skills.
Here's what is included:
–Apple Alphabet: students will identify which letters are uppercase and which letters are lowercase. (RF.K.1d)
–What's Missing?: Alphabet Edition – students will use an alphabet line (included in packet) to determine which letter is missing. (L.K.1a, RF.K.1d)
–Write the Room: Students will find the vocabulary cards and match the picture to the recording sheet. They will record the picture name on the paper. (L.K.1a, RF.K.1b)
–Alphabet Line-Up: (activity can be used 3 ways) Students will put uppercase cards in ABC order, lowercase cards in ABC order, match the uppercase to the lowercase, or sort uppercase and lowercase letters. (L.K.1a, RF.K.1d)
–Acorn Sounds: Students will match the top of the acorn (letter) to the bottom of the acorn (picture) to identify the beginning sound. (RF.K.3a, L.K.1a)
–Syllable Sort: An introduction to syllables. Students will sort picture cards with either one or two syllables. (RF.K.2b)
–Bear-y Good Beginning Sounds: Students will identify the beginning sound of each picture. (RF.K.3a, L.K.1a)
–Rakin' in the Letters: Handwriting practice for alphabet letters, includes exposure to beginning sounds. (L.K.1a, RF.K.1d)
–Scarecrow Numbers: Students will compare two numbers to determine which number is larger. (K.CC.C.7)
–“Fall”-ing for Ten Frames: Students will determine which number is represented on the ten frame. (K.CC.B.4b)
–Number Line-Up: Students will put number cards to 20 in order. (optional number line included for additional support) (K.CC.A.1, K.CC.A.3)
–“What's Missing?” Number Edition: Students will use the number line (included in packet) to determine which number is missing. (K.CC.A.2)
–Roll and Learn: (can be used 3 ways) Students will roll a cube and trace/write shapes, count and color the matching number, color objects to match the number. (K.G.A.2, K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.4b)
–Fall Counting: Students will count the objects on the card (up to 12) and record their answer. (K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.5)
–Bushels of Ten Frames: Students will match the number card to the ten frame. (K.CC.B.4b)
–I Love Fall… and Counting too!: Students will sort through objects on a card to answer “how many” for each object. (K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.5)
–“Fall”ing for Numbers: Handwriting practice for numbers to 10, includes exposure to ten frames and pictorial representation. (K.CC.A.3)
