Bippity Boppity Brew, Let's Make an Alphabet Stew is an interactive activity that helps students practice letter names and letter sounds. This activity works great in a large or small group setting.

1. Students will chant the Bippity Boppity Brew, Let's Make an Alphabet Stew original poem while one student chooses a letter card out of the cauldron, pot, or basket.
2. Once the chant is finished, the student will identify the name and/or letter sound of the card and show it to the class.
3. Students return the letter card to the cauldron, pot, or basket and pass it to the next classmate. You can take turns as many times as time allows.

Both uppercase and lowercase alphabet cards are included. This allows you to use all uppercase or all lowercase cards, or a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters.

There are two optional recording sheets to keep students engaged. Students can color the letter on their paper that their classmates choose.

You could also use this as an adult-led game. Have an adult choose a letter and make the sound. Students will color or cover the letter that makes the sound.
