Homework is a great way to provide students extra practice and keep parents informed of what their child is learning. Planning for homework shouldn’t be hard and doing homework shouldn’t be boring. With this resource, your Kindergarten homework curriculum is planned for the ENTIRE year – and your students will have a BLAST completing the activities!
This Kindergarten Homework Bundle is a great way to encourage and promote learning at home. Use it during the school year as fun, interactive homework activities or during distance learning.
Both resources are easy to prep and require minimal printing. All pages are in black and white.
⭐️ This bundle includes:
-40 weeks of “choice board” style homework activities
-12 months worth of themed reading logs
⭐️ About the Choice Board Homework Pages:
–40 weeks of activities. Each week includes 9 activities and an editable space for you to write a message, directions, or sight words/letters to practice.
-Parent letter explaining these boards with a blank editable template
-Editable blank choice board
Each week includes math and literacy activities (including reading, phonics/phonemic awareness, and sight words) with alternating science and social studies activities, and alternating fine motor and gross motor activities.
These are practical activities that parents can do with their children. They are minimal prep and use basic household supplies: buttons, paper and writing instruments, stuffed animals, cereal, tweezers or tongs, index cards or sticky notes, etc.
To help keep you organized, the choice boards are labeled by week in the upper right corner.
This resource also includes a note to parents explaining the choice boards and how to use them. If you would prefer to write your own letter to parents, an editable version is provided.
There are optional resource and reference pages such as letter cards and number cards that you can send home to families. Or you can have parents create their own at home. You can also use these resources to create homework folders. The activities do not mention the reference pages, so you can decide whether to send them.

-4 anytime monthly reading logs

Preparing the reading logs is simple and easy. Just send home the parent letter at the beginning of the year and the “Tips for Reading at Home” information sheet. Select and print your desired reading log theme and send home at the beginning of each month.
An editable student checklist is also included so you can record who has completed each month’s reading log. Simply type in your class list and print. Two options are included; August through May and September through June.
