This Fall Math Activities for Kindergarten resource is perfect for Kindergarteners during the fall months! It includes interactive games and activities that are made just for Kindergarten. Themes included in this packet are: all things fall, fall kids, lots of pumpkins, hay, fall leaves, scarecrows, apples, and acorns. Please note: There are no Halloween themed activities in this fall packet.

This packet contains a total of 16 different activities. Note: Some of the activities have multiple version or very similar versions, so you can use the activities more than once, without having to re-explain directions to your students. Some activities are to be played individually, while others are meant to be played with a partner or small group.

All activities include a kid-friendly “I Can” visual directions to promote independence. A table of contents is included to help you easily find the skills or activities you need.

-Spin 4 in a Row: Students will play with a partner. They will spin the spinner, count the ten frame, and cover the number on their card. (K.CC.A.1, K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)

-Roll, Count, and Color: Students will practice subsidizing by rolling a die and coloring the apple with the same number of circles. (K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)

-Apple Seeds: Students will roll a die and write the number. 2 differentiated versions included. (K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)

-Fall Leaves: Students will spin the spinner, trace the number using the color code, and then write the numbers on their own. (K.CC.A.3)

-Count and Color: Students will count a set of objects on the activity mat and color the objects on their paper to show how many. 2 activities included. (K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)

-Plenty of Pumpkins: Students will roll a die, write the number, and count to fill in the numbers that come before and after. (K.CC.A.2, K.CC.A.3)

-Number Spin: Students will spin the spinner, count the pumpkins, and record their answer. (K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.5)

-Pumpkin Frames: Students will roll the ten frame die and count the ten frame. To show their work, they will record the number and show the number on the ten frame. (K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)

-Fall Leaves/Ten Frames: Students will use the color code to color the numbers and ten frames 2 activities included. (K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)

-Pumpkin Palooza: Students will spin the spinner, record the number, and draw pumpkin seeds to show the number. (K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)

-Piles of Five: Students will use manipulatives to practice composing and decomposing five. (K.OA.A.3)

-Pumpkin Shapes: Students will spin the spinner, find the matching shape on their paper, and color it to match the color on the spinner. (K.G.A.2, K.MD.B.3)

-Roll and Cover: Partner game to practice numbers within 6. (K.CC.A.1, K.CC.B.4)

-Fall Patterns: Students will copy and extend ABB and ABC patterns using plastic linking cubes. Recording sheet included. 2 activities included.

-Acorns Everywhere!: Students will roll the cube, count the acorns, find the number on their paper and color it to match the books. (K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)

-Leave it to Numbers: A partner game to practice numbers to 10 (or to 5). Can be played 3 different ways. (K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)
